In 2012, KTAndersen, the holding that controls Centroflora Group, purchased the shares from the joint venture it had since 2004 with Natura Inovação and Orsa Group. From this time on, our name changed to Phytobios Pesquisa, Desenvolvimento e Inovação Ltda.
Currently, we contribute in an effective manner to the training of human resources connected to innovation projects both in national and international programs since we believe the technical skill and expertise comprise the real basis of sustainable development.
Phytobios Nordeste
By the end of 2013, the implementation of our affiliate in Piauí started, i.e. Phytobios Nordeste. This is where our Natural Product Innovation Laboratory (LIPRON) is located, as well as an area especially dedicated to agricultural experiments, through the best agro-ecology practices.
Such affiliate is focused on obtaining high-value extracts/active ingredients for Research & Development, as well as on bioprospection from biodiversity for the most diverse purposes relative to natural technologies and biotechnology.
